Sustainability work is a central part of Centramec’s strategy to reduce our impact on the environment and society. For us, sustainability is not only about reducing carbon dioxide emissions and energy consumption, but also about creating a good working environment and long-term sustainable and responsible customer relationships.

In-house production
By having our own production facility, we can better control the entire production chain, from raw materials to finished products. This provides opportunities for high quality, a good working environment and fair working conditions for our employees. In-house production also makes it easier to carry out quality checks and monitor our suppliers’ sustainability goals.
Local production
By producing our products locally, we can reduce the environmental impact that otherwise comes from transport, we can contribute to the local community and support activities in the area. At Centramec, we have close contact and long-term relationships with our suppliers and thus the opportunity to monitor the sustainability requirements that are set. Choosing local suppliers for materials and components can reduce both CO2 emissions and delivery times, while supporting the local community and creating jobs in the local area.
In summary, Centramec’s sustainability work is about taking responsibility through the entire production chain – from design and production to conveying and how the products are used. Centramec invests in good quality, in-house production and local production. We also invest in training customers to make the most efficient use of the equipment, so that the products and equipment used will have the longest possible service life.
