For many years, SOMOS was a leading brand for efficient granule drying and then also for material handling under the company Protec Polymer Processing GmbH. SOMOS was known as an experienced partner of the plastics industry with its high-quality products. SOMOS offered a wide range of dryers. With several model series, SOMOS offered granule dryers and material conveying for different processes. In 2022, Protec Polymer Processing GmbH went bankrupt and disappeared from the market.
Centramec has a long history of successful collaboration with SOMOS. For those of you who have SOMOS equipment in your production, Centramec continues to offer its safe and professional service. We have access to spare parts and accessories, which allows you to continue using your SOMOS equipment for many more years.
If your SOMOS products need to be replaced, Centramec has a wide range of products from other brands that can replace your equipment. We have helped customers in both the Nordic countries and Europe to find equivalent equipment for their production. For example, through conveyors and controls from our own brand Cemec, dryers from Plastic Systems and dosing equipment from TSM Control Systems.
