Our range of dosing equipment includes batch mixers and continuous dosing. A batch mixer weighs out a batch, which is then released into a mixing chamber. There, components from several different batches are mixed together until it becomes a suitable compound mixture that is ready to be used in the process. A continuous dosing device, as the name suggests, is however a continuous process that is often controlled by an extruder, for example. The big difference is that the components are simultaneously dosed directly into the extruder intake. For very accurate dosing, it is most common to use a continuous dosing device. This type of dosing also provides the opportunity for a faster response in the process when changing the recipe.
